Jax State's Marching Southerners and Cheerleaders Set For Busy Week in Orlando Around StaffDNA Cure Bowl
Jacksonville, AL (12/10/2024) — The renowned Marching Southerners and Jax State Cheerleaders are set to showcase their talents across Orlando as part of an unforgettable weekend of performances. The trip starts with a performance at SeaWorld Orlando on Thursday, December 19, followed by their support of the Conference USA Champion Jax State Football Team at the StaffDNA Cure Bowl on Friday, December 20. The weekend concludes with the Southerners leading Universal Studios Florida's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's on Saturday, December 21.
The Cure Bowl will mark the Marching Southerners' 11th game of Jax State's historic 2024 season, following six home games, three road games, and the CUSA Championship game on December 6. As more details about their performances become available, they will be shared on the Marching Southerners' website and Facebook Page.

The parade performance and other appearances add to an extraordinary weekend celebrating Jax State's historic 2024 season. Fans can cheer on the Gamecocks in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl, which kicks off at noon ET on Friday, December 20, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. On Saturday, the Marching Southerners and Cheerleaders will begin their day at Universal Studios Florida, enjoying the park's attractions before stepping into the spotlight to lead Universal's Holiday Parade that afternoon.
